A majority of the population is depending on regular milk. What is so special with organic milk that they have to switch from it? Regular milk is no bad for our health, but researches say that organic milk is much more rewarding for us.
Gillian Butler, PhD and coauthor of a recently published study on a British journal says that organic milk is a stronger source of antioxidants that include vitamin E, carotenoids beta-carotene and lutein as well. The study also says that the milk from the organic or grass fed cows contains 40 to 50% more concentration of antioxidants than those raised in conventional method.
There’s no hard and fast rule that you have to be a frequent drinker of milk to get more antioxidants. You can also go for cheese and butter from the specially raised cows, which are again better sources of antioxidants than the conventional ones.
