Prepare Basic Holiday Cookie dough, with the following changes: Substitute 1/2 tsp. rum extract for vanilla; stir 1/4 cup chopped glaceed pineapple and 1/2 cup shredded coconut into dough. Wrap in plastic; refrigerate until well chilled. For each cookie, drop rounded teaspoon of dough onto baking sheets. Top ech cookie with half glaceed cherry. Bak in 350 F. oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire rackes. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
