3 tb Unsalted butter 5 md Red onions; sliced thin ; crosswise 375 ml Red wine vinegar; (13fl oz) 125 ml Creme de cassis; (4fl oz) 125 ml Grenadine; (4fl oz) 125 ml Red wine; (4fl oz) Coriander Salt and pepper

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sweat the onions for 3 minutes, add the vinegar, cassis, greneadine and wine and reduce until the liquid has almost evaporated and the onions are glazed. Add the coriander and season to taste.
